REX HWANG counsels clients with regard to all aspects of intellectual property strategy including intellectual property litigation, trademark prosecution and patent prosecution. Mr. Hwang counsels clients in the technical fields of mechanical arts, biotechnology, software technologies and chemical engineering.

Education

Mr. Hwang holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (1999) from the University of Kansas. He also holds a J.D. (2002) from the University of Kansas School of Law.

Legal Affiliations

Mr. Hwang is a member of the State Bar of California (2002), is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern District of California, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hwang practiced civil litigation.
